medical laboratory technologist "medical laboratory technologist" means any person who holds the appropriate certificate in medical laboratory technology obtained from the School of Medical Laboratory Technology at the Institute of Medical Research or other academic institution in Malaysia or an equivalent qualification from an academic institution outside Malaysia, after at least three years of full-time study in medical laboratory technology recognized by the Director General;
